Abring Sleeps

Report by Engr. Tony Pajaro ('68)

To All Guys & Gals of Class 68,

How I hate to be the bearer of sad news but I owe it to you all my classmates and friends and loved ones of Abraham Danganan Victoria to let you know that Abring as we fondly call him, joined his Creator an hour ago today, at about 3:00 pm, June 1, 2009, succumbing to cardiac arrest after waging a long, painful and expensive battle with cancer.

His body will lie in state at the family ancestral home in Valenzuela City (Pio Valenzuela St. corner Espiritu St.) in front of the Sanctissimo Rosario Hospital and slated interred at the family plot in La Loma Cemetery, this Saturday, June 6, 2009.

Just before he expired, Abring was heard mumbling “Inang”, the name by which he and his siblings and the Victoria clan addressed his deceased mother, who incidentally is commemorating her birthday today.

Abring is survived by wife Julie, children Abner, Aileen, Abigail and JanieAnn; sisters Beth and Santa; and brother Alex and their respective families.
